I finally got to it and jump started my Father’s Day card making. The “D” is from the Blackletter cartridge. I used the Script Cuttlebug folder to emboss it. The stamped letters to spell out DAD are from Inkadinkado. The patterned paper is called “School Days” and the solid paper is bazzill. The stamped dogs are by Penny Black. The collars are stickled. I think that’s it.

It was my birthday yesterday and I wanted to share a couple of super cute cards I received. The top card is from my very talented SIL Alyson. I adore this card! It’s a simple but very adorable idea. The second card is from Tina. She’s is a member of Jen’s Birthday RAK Club. The cupcake paper is sparkly and super cute. Thanks Alyson and Tina! You make me want to stop slacking and start crafting!!

These are what I made for my mother and mother-in-law for Mother’s Day. I bought the paint cans a few months ago and just hadn’t had the right occasion to use them. The hardest part of doing a paint can is getting the paper just right to fit around the handles. I used a heart shaped punch and a slit on both sides to make room for the handle. Then I sewed the paper and had to stop and start over around each slit. It was time consuming but matches up pretty well (the bottom picture shows this best). The tags are cut out from Alphalicious and the dragon fly on top of the blue lid is from Pooh and Friends. There are a few circles from the George cartridge as well. I filled them with yogurt covered prezels (plain, peanut butter, and rasberry- yum!).
