Paper Piecing
Saturday, June 27th, 2009I’m back to selling my paper piecings on e-bay. Therefore, you’ll be seeing a lot of them.
I love to make them and like having a little extra cash. On top of that I love knowing my work is on other ladies scrapbooks all across the U.S. The top one is a snake that you weave in between pictures on a scrapbook page. I’ve started a second one that I hope to scrapbook soon. The next is called “puppy love.” The final picture is of zoo animals that I’ve shown before. They are some of my favorites! The giraffe is a bit ridiculous to do (so many small pieces!) but ends up being too cute for him own good.
I have a lot of card ideas floating around in my head that I hope to get to soon. Thanks for looking!!
Dog & Cat, Lamb & Chick
Monday, June 22nd, 2009For those of you who check out my site for my paper piecings I appoligize it’s been so long. Here are a two that I finally got around to making. The patterns are by another fabulous lady named Lisa. You can purchase her patterns here. She usually does a lot of drawing on her patterns but I decided to keep these ones simple. I’ll try to post more soon!
Baby Boy
Tuesday, June 16th, 2009I just received a new clear stamp set from Fiskars. I’ll have more baby cards to come. This is a baby boy card using the Fiskars airplane stamp. The “Oh Baby” is a sticker. I finally used the new Crop-A-Dile I was given for my birthday too. This pregnancy is sucking all my energy but today I found it again. I hoped to do more with the inside of the card but my daughter woke up so I left it blank. I did stamp a matching envelope with safety pins (not pictured).
Thinking of You
Saturday, June 6th, 2009I am a huge fan of embellishments. I’ll take all the flowers, eyelets, jewels, and brads you can give me. However, I think I over do it sometimes so I decided to make a card without using any dazzling embellishments this time (stitching and pop-up dots don’t count in my book…) The stamp is by Penny Black (I know, I’ve been stuck on Penny Black lately). The sentiment and inside flower are rub-ons. The bee and hedgehog are 3D and water-colored.
