Still have a sick little girl with a fever who needs her mom so sticking with a short post. Hope she’s feeling better soon! Poor thing had to miss her Preschool Valentine’s Day party and has been out for the past three days. Her little brother is going stir crazy.

Hi Ladies and Gents! We’re calling all squares for the new 7 Kids challenge today. All you have to do is make a square card and use an image carried by 7 Kids College Fund to enter. I used my newest C.C. Designs stamp, Cinder.  I think he is adorable! I seem to have a thing for dragons lately.

This is my first attempt coloring on kraft colored cardstock. I like that it makes my reds not as crazy bright. I was pretty impressed that the ink didn’t bleed too! Red’s seem to always want to bleed on me.

I just got a whole slew of new stamps from being one of the winners of the High Hopes blog hop and my latest 7 Kids order gracing my mailbox so I’ll be back soon!! Nothing better than the first inking on a new stamp!

Kiki is the best when it comes to the paper pieced clothes. She always looks so stylish! Here I used Puppy Kiki from C.C. Designs. I stamped her with Memento tuxedo black ink on Neenah paper and a few different sheets of paper from the Cosmo Cricket Togetherness paper pad. All of the other papers are from the same collection. I colored half of Kiki with Copics and paper pieced the other half. I’ll have to use her again real soon. I colored her puppy up first and then noticed how cute he looked stamped on the blue polka dot paper her boots are cut out from. I then sewed it all together and used a few Basic Grey buttons.

My internet has been down most of the weekend. So frustrating! I have a few other things to post but didn’t have access to do so. Now I have to find the time to photograph them and get them up during a busy week…

It is a Thanksgiving miracle! My site is finally back up and running. It always takes longer than planned when we change hosts…but that last host stunk! We’re back to a reliable host that I’ll stick with from here on out.

My 7 Kids College Fund card is a day late but here he is. The challenge is to use non-traditional Christmas colors. I used Sugarplum Ornament Trevor and colored him up in some blue jeans and a gray and yellow striped sweater. I haven’t used too many C.C. Design stamps in the past but I’m finding them a ton of fun to color.

Hope ya’ll have some wonderful plans for Thanksgiving. We’re spending the day at my parent’s house eating lots of yummy things. All of my siblings (except my youngest sister who is in High School) are going to their in-laws for dinner but my in-laws are romping around Disneyland this fine day. Lucky ducks. That just means there’s more pie for me and more time for me to spend with my parents and baby sister. I do spend the day with my siblings every year for Black Friday. It’s a crazy fun tradition. Nothin’ like waking up at 3 a.m. to hit the sales. Anyway, I have some rolls to make and some painting to do before then. I better get to it.
