I Love Chubby Babies

Who doesn’t love chubby babies? This chubby baby is Mo Manning’s, “Sumpin’s Wrong”. I stamped him with Memento tuxedo black ink on Neenah cardstock and colored him in with fabulous Copics. I cut his mat out with a few Nestabilities, embossed a strip of green cardstock with my Cuttlebug Spots & Dots folder, and added a handful of Basic Grey buttons to finish it off.

Hope you all have fun plans today. My little family is joining my husband’s side of the family at the zoo. My three-year-old is super excited. It’s feeling like a zoo at my house already. :)

Copics: E000, E00, E01, R20, G40, G82, G85, B91, B93, B95, Y32, Y21, C1, C2, 0

You Rock Goose Card

I made it, woohoo! The High Hopes challenge this week is to use stars. I didn’t think I’d finish my card in time since new challenges are every Sunday but I squeezed it in. I went for something different this time. My card is still square (that’s what I have envelopes for) but not the usual double layer sewn look. I photographed the darn card three times but couldn’t get it to turn out well enough for you to see how the goose is colored. I really liked how it looks in person. Maybe if you squint with one eye closed you can image how fab it looks holding it in your hands. Is it working? Ya, I didn’t think it would. I tried.

In other news, 7 Kids College Fund is now carrying Popcorn Bear Stamps.  20 Sets in all.

You still have a few more days to enter to win the High Hopes stamp giveaway too!

I finally was able to finish this cards twin. I kinda like the bear in a darker shade. My husband even said he liked it without me asking him. It earns major points for that! I finally ordered a custom stamp with my logo too. Woohoo! I’ve wanted one since I had my logo made by Lucky Jane Designs. No more seeing my cards listed on e-bay labeled as someone elses work. It feels good.

I have a card started for this weeks High Hopes challenge but I had to stop to go work in the yard and now it’s time to get ready for some Fourth of July fun. Hopefully I’ll have time after the fireworks.  Hope everyone has a great Fourth!

I also forgot to mention my blogging buddy Michelle of Stamps, Paper, Scissors, and Donkey Smiles. Michelle had an unfortunate accident while taking care of her donkeys and lost her right eye.

Stampavie has set up an account via paypal where donations can be made to help Michelle with the expenses of surgery and eventually an artificial eye. Tina Wenke has designed this incredibly cute digital image as a thank you for your donation to help Michelle.
