Today is my older brother’s birthday. When we were kids we use to walk downtown to buy what we called penny candies (a.k.a. footsies tootsie rolls).  I remember one birthday my brother bought me 200 of them. I thought it was the best gift ever. I made him this gift bag sporting Norman Goat and filled it with delicious penny candies to go along with his gift. I’m the second oldest so he’s the only one I can tease about being an old goat…plus I just wanted to use Norman. I real dig him. :)

Today I have one sad little photo of a bag of treats I snap while running out the door. I seem to always be running late. That “always” isn’t an exaggerating either.

The sentiment is from High Hopes and the watermelon cuts are from Simply Charmed (Cricut cartridge).
