Happy Valentine’s Day! In the normal Lisa fashion I waited until the last minute and then decided to whip up a few batches of cookies and these cute little gift tags. It is also my BIL Austin’s Birthday. I sadly made him the worst cake ever as well- note to self: making the cake layers the night before is a bad idea. Not sealing them up air tight also a bad idea. You will get comments like, “I plead the 5th” when asked how it tastes and “It’s like a toast cake.” LOL, at least my cookies are good and my in laws now have a “remember when” story about me to tell for years to come.

The monkey stamp is a digi from Bugaboo (I added the 30 on the cake), the Cupid Bear is from Whipper Snapper, the elephant is a Dustin Pike digi image, and the squirrel is a Greeting Farm image. I used a lot of cuttlebug, my cricut, did some sewing, and inked lots of edges. That’s about it. I’ll be back tomorrow with my Squigglefly DT card.

Sparkle Card 016

This is one of the first images I colored after getting my new Prismacolor markers. I finally got around to adding him to a card. You can find Twilight’s Edward stamp here or here. He’s from The Greeting Farm. The patterned paper is from We R Memory Keepers called Coppered out.

I also made this Christmas gift tag today. The tree stamp is from Stampology and has been embossed with Bridal Embossing Tinsel.

The Greeting Farm- Megan Thank You Card

thank you card

thank you card 2

While checking out some other crafting sites on my google reader I came across a few cards using these adorable stamps I’d never seen before. One site had a link to this fabulous little store called The Greeting Farm. This is Megan. She reminds me of my two year old- long eyelashes, fabulous curly hair, and a little attitude as well. I ordered Edward too. Any Twilight/stamping fan can’t pass him up. Shipping is low and the stamps arrived quickly. I’m a very satisfied customer. Now if only I was satisfied with my coloring job. I’ll get the hang of it soon…I hope. I ran across an adorable card at Wicked Pixie Creations and stamped another image to try to color as fabulous as she has. You’ll be seeing Megan again very soon.

Whipper Snapper order

I came home tonight to find my recent Whipper Snapper Design order on my doorstep. Part of me was overly excited and the other part was bugged that I was charged $8.95 to ship this little envelope. That’s what they charge to mail out any size order. I purchased quite a few stamps but bought them as just the rubber since it was cheapest. Sadly, not a place I can order from often. I have to do the messy job of mounting the stamps on foam tomorrow and then I’ll be showing off all my new images!! I can’t wait!!!
