First Lili of the Valley Card & Giveaway

Sorry about the not so fabulous photos. I used natural lighting today and forgot to open the blinds. Sometimes I think I should go blonde again. :)

I have admired Lili of the Valley stamps for ages now but held off due to the overseas shipping costs and the exchange rate. Well, a few weeks ago they offered free shipping so I couldn’t hold back any longer. Woohoo! They are fabulous and adorable. What more could you ask for? They also recently lowered their shipping costs so woohoo to that too!

Well, I’m also doing my best to become a more giving person which includes to my blogging buddies. I bought two of this fab stamp- one for me, one for you. Just leave me a comment and I’ll pick a winner on Monday (the 14th). Feel free to follow me or link to this post but it isn’t necessary to enter.

I followed the sketch at Lili of the Valley.

I’ve been admiring Lili of the Valley from afar as well. I love this little stamp – it combines several of my loves cakes (and cake baking) and kitties. Your card is very cute! I love the bright colors.

That card is fantastic. I want that stamp. If you don’t send it to me, I’ll have to go ahead and buy it. lol. You are my inspiration. I’ve just now buying some copic pens and trying to learn how to do the shading. You do the best.

Oh my, this is so sweet it makes me want to squeal! I just discovered Lili of the Valley stamps TONIGHT! I must have been hiding under a rock! Their stamps are so stinkin’ cute. I’m with you, I don’t love ordering from overseas. By the time you pay for the shipping, you could have bought an extra stamp or two! But their rates seem really reasonable and their stamps are just too cute to resist. I’ll just have to save up! Resist spending elsewhere for a while. ;o)

I’m also a little nervous about the unmounted stamps. I’ve never used them before — how did you find them to be? Did you get a clear image right away?

This one looks fab! I really heart your coloring technique, whatever it is. You really brought this image to life. I’m going to follow. This seems like a fun place to hang around. ;o)

Oh, I see you used Copics! I love Copics. I don’t have a huge collection yet, but enough to play with — maybe 50 markers?

I’m also really keen to try prismas with gamsol. Have you ever?

Thanks for visiting and following my site! I hear you about unmounted stamps. I do get a clean stamp everytime. It gets a little pricey to use them upfront since you need to buy EZ mounting foam and an acrylic block. In the long run it’s cheaper. The mounting foam lasts and backs many, many stamps. I do use Copics. I just started collecting them and I’m addicted. :) I do have gamsol but don’t have the nice quality grade pencils…yet. I really like the look and how simple it is. I plan on buying me a set of the Prismacolor pencils in the near future. I’ve seen some amazing coloring done with them.

    Hope my ramblings help! :)
