For My Nephew

I make a lot of cards but I rarely actually use them. I hoard them for myself. This year one of my goals is to mail out more cards. This one is from my nephew Liam (shh, don’t tell). I tried to go with a simple card. There is a lot to be said about a well made simple card. I like this card but I think it ended up looking like two cards put together to make one. Like the stars should be one card and the crocodile and sentiment should be another. :S I added the stars in the corner because the card looked too simple and then added the skittles or pebbles or whatever you call them. I think that is the problem. Oh well, he’ll like it. :) I followed High Hopes challenge this week which is a card for a baby or young child.

Supplies

Stamps: High Hopes- Samson & Crock Me Up

Paper: Bo Bunny, Scenic Route

Accessories: Skittles, pop up dots, corner rounder, ink, ribbon, Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic folder and Star Dies

Color Medium: Copics (first image I ever colored with them)

Great card! I love your layout!! Thank you so much for playing along with our challenge last week. We have another fun one this week…Spring Flowers! Use an image with flowers, DP with flowers, or add flowers to your card! We would love for you to play along again.
