Lion Smiles Card

This is one of my favorite cards that I’ve made in awhile. I put a lot of time into it thus it is after one a.m. Whoops. Don’t tell my husband! It’s so nice when I don’t have my little girl trying to do everything I do. She loves to do crafts with me which is great but I sure don’t get a lot accomplished. Moving on…

I made this fabulous card for the ABC Challenge blog. This weeks challenge is to use buttons. The image is Leo from High Hopes. The on-line store I use to order my High Hopes stamps from no longer carries them. Anyone know an on-line store in the US that carries them? I don’t want to go without my High Hopes!

I used scrapworks and Bo Bunny patterned papers. It has a lot of layers which my sewing machine did not love. It lived though. The inside says smile and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Leo’s mane is a little bright. I thought about toning it down but I think it makes him stand out. What do you think?
