Of all the fish in the sea…

Ok, let’s be honest. I missed the memo on this weeks 7 Kids challenge. I though it was just a 3X3 card however, it’s a 3X3 card with a Valentine’s theme. So, I could do my usual freak out and rush around staying up way to late to create another card or just go with what I made. I decided to go with what I made and pay better attention next challenge.

My card is featuring Fishing Bear from Stampavie. He was colored with Copics and you can find envelopes here for this size card.

A Perfect Pear

Another Cricut circle card. For this one I used Birthday Bash for the base, Preserves for the pears, and Paper Doll Dress Up for the bow tie. The background pattern paper is from AdornIt and the green polka dots paper is from 3 Bugs in a Rug.

Nothing witty to say today so I guess it’s just the card and a cheery hello. Thanks for stopping in!

Special Valentine’s Day Greeting

Today I made a Valentine’s Day card using Halloween colors. It just worked out that way. I really want that bunny to be a dog. My mind says it’s a dog but the ears say it’s a bunny.

Try Something New Tilda

New challenge today- try something new. It took me a serious amount of time to think of something new to do. After failing at my first “new” something-or-other to try I settled on stamping my image with lighter ink. I also colored my image with Copics and then added shadows with a Prismacolor pencil. Never done that before, but I like the outcome.

My first attempt was to cutout AND emboss with my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities. I can’t for the life of me figure it out. I even watched a “how to” YouTube video. I think I’m just forgetting some crucial point. Frustrating! Any suggestions? I do have the embossing pad but nothin’.
