Project #20
I made this card for one of my most fabulous friends. It’s for this weeks Squigglefly challenge- fun borders. This week I used another Crissy Armstrong image called Oswalda Goes Shopping. Isn’t Oswalda just fabulous? lol, I love all of Crissy’s images!
The patterned paper is by Sassafrass and the card stock is from bazzill. I used my Martha Stewart border punch, some stickles, and pop up dots. I also tried a new technique (at least for me) and sponged around my image. I need some practice but think I’ll do so more often.
Anyway, check out the other DT ladies fab cards (have you noticed “fabulous” is my favorite word yet?) and join in the Squigglefly challenge!

Project #19
Yes, I realize my hedgehogs are bustin’ their moves in the wrong order. I don’t know if it really matters (does it Liza?). They are doing some extra fancy freestyle.
The image (they are all from the same stamp) is from Penny Black called Ecarte, Splits, Pirouette. The polka dot patterned paper is by Pebbles and the CS is bazzill. The striped paper is from a Imaginisce sparkle paper pad called For Peep’s Sake.
One of these days I’ll make a card before midnight so I have some light to photograph in. I hope…
I’m entering this card into the following challenges:
Penny Black Saturday Challenge- color combo
Mojo Monday- sketch
Saturday Challenge- stitching
Crafty Creations Challenge- cut it out and pop it up

I made this card for a fabulous top notch friend who is having a birthday tomorrow. …it’s going to be a little late. Happy Birthday Ricky! I locked myself and my family out of the house yesterday for the second time. I swear I am loosing it. I left my key in the house and my husbands key was at the shop with our one and only car. Thank goodness we have family that lives close! We stayed at family members houses for two days while waiting for our car. It was a relaxing but now I’m way behind on my crafting/orders.
Anyway, all the patterned papers and brads are Bo Bunny (thanks Marianne!). I used cuttlebug folder Perfect Paisley and Swiss Dots. Gavin the Givin’ Dragon stamp is from High Hopes. The sentiment is a rub-on.
Challenges entered-
I followed the sketch at Moving Along with the Times.
High Hopes challenge is to add texture.
SophistiCat Challenge is embossing.
Stamp with Fun’s challenge is stitching.

There are so many babies that have just arrived or are about to come. Last night I whipped out my New Arrival cartridge. It has so many adorable cuts that I just have never used before. I have so many more I can’t wait to cut out and ink up! The sentiment I stamped years ago using one of my mothers stamps. I believe it is a Inkadinkado but don’t quote me on that. The patterned paper is from BasicGrey.
I’ve had a few ladies e-mail me asking if my cards are for sell. By all means, If you see a card you’d like to own please e-mail me at lisasummerhays[@]gmail[dot]com. I won’t be taking special orders and I only have one of each card shown.
I am entering this card into the following contests-
Crafty Creations- stitching
ABC Challenge- O is for one paper
Our Creative Corner- something old that’s new
