I do realize this yet another Whipper Snapper stamp. This one is called Peek-a-Boo Ghost. I wanted to join in on a new sketch challenge blog, Get Sketchy. I thought of this stamp right off the bat when I saw the first sketch. I thought about putting a flower on the card but it didn’t fit the spooky theme so instead I used a new technique I just learned about. The large brad was silver and I turned it black. I heated it up with my embossing gun, dipped the brad in black embossing powder, and heated it again. I’m hooked! Now I can buy cheaper plain colored brads and make them into any color (well, limited to my embossing powder supply).
The orange patterned paper is by Pebblesinc. I bought a pack of 25 12X12 sheets for $1.25. Score. I’m sure you’ll see it again. The super fabulous patterned paper on the front is by My Minds Eye called Boo to You. I adore it. And of course I used my Prismacolor markers. I forgot to take a side view shot. The pumpkin, ghosts hands, and sign are 3D too.
I’ve been working on my layout for another challenge the past few days as well. I hope to have it finished and posted tonight.
