Here’s my first design team card for More Paper Than Shoes Forum. The challenge is “summer”. My card is about as summery as you can get. It’s been getting hot around these parts. Yuck! I prefer jacket weather all the way. I’m wishing for some beach front property at the moment. Wish i had Penelope’s chicken legs too.

Followed you from Cricut msg area..your card is so darn cute! Very nice job. I do have a question for you..how did you cut the thin parts of the girl so well!??! I have a very difficult time cutting thin parts on stamps/digi’s.
You did a very good job – Marcie
Hi, thanks for the question about cutting out stamped images! I use to make every stamped card have a 3D element so I did a lot of cutting. I own a small pair of Cutter Bee scissors that I adore. I’ve tried a few other brands but find the Cutter Bee’s to be the easiest to work with. It’s time consuming to cut out small or thin images and it makes me nervous so I just take my time. I cut out the bigger areas that aren’t as fragile (like the head) before the arms and legs. Hope that helps!
