Alice in Wonderland Birthday Party

I posted my daughters 3rd birthday party invites a few weeks ago. I’m back to share the other crafty goodness I did for the party.

The food-

We made cucumber sandwiches (with bacon, bacon makes everything taste better), chicken salad stuffed cream puffs, cookies that said things like “eat me” (not pictured, they were rough, lol), and chocolate ganache crunch cake. I went for taste over looks on the cake this year. I was going to make this cake, attempt this cake, or a cake shaped like the Cheshire Cat’s smile. I’m happy with the cake I made.

Decor-

These are the photos of the decorations I did get photos of. We had guests over for dinner and games that night so I cleaned everything up pretty quickly. We had lots of signs up around the room, a Cheshire cat grin and eyes. I had costumes for all the members of my family but we were rushing and never did get them on. Sad. I had a busy week and finished all the plans that I could.

The Birthday Girl-

My daughter is three. I don’t feel old enough to be the mother of a three year old (I’m 28). Happy birthday Mallory! She’s already requested a Belle party for next year, lol. I think it’s just for the Belle dress. ;) We love you sweet pea! Thanks for the fabulous photos Tiffany!! We love you too!!

You can get the Alice dress here. It’s pretty high quality for a costume and it’s the only place I could find it in a 3T-4T. I am thrilled with the tea set we bought her as well (so is she). It is glass but she has been playing with it non-stop and hasn’t had and problems. You can get it here.

Hope this inspires you to go and plan an Alice and Wonderland party of your own. :) If you do please leave me a comment and link to your party photos! I’d love it!!

Alice in Wonderland Birthday Invitations

It’s my daughter Mallory’s 3rd birthday this week. We are having an Alice in Wonderland themed party (encase you couldn’t tell). I so very fancy planning kid’s birthday parties and believe the invite is most important. How else do you get your guests excited about coming? Check back after the 10th and I’ll having Alice in Wonderland party decoration ideas too.

I used the Cricut and Design Studio as well as hand drew, cut, and paper pieced some of the pieces myself.

I also posted my invite on the Cricut website. You can see what the ladies are saying about it here.
