Baby Elephant Card

Welcome to my last post for Squigglefly. What a strange feeling. My 6 month design team term in coming to an end. For my last DT card I used my handy-dandy discount and bought a few images I’ve had my eye on. I used one of Crissy Armstrong’s images here. Her images are the reason I applied for the position in the first place so I thought it was fitting. The challenge is to use yellow on your project.

I just noticed this morning that my site is acting up. I’m doing my best to get it to stop malfunctioning. It’s been one of those weeks. I’ll be back tomorrow with my Practical Scrappers card.

Supplies

Stamps: Squigglefly digi- Baby Elephant

Paper: Bazzill Cardstock, American Crafts

Accessories: Prima Flowers, half pearls, Love charm, Fiskars border punch, thread, button, Etcetera Dimensional letters

Color Medium: Copics- C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C7, R20, R81

Tickled Pink

I finally found a minute to finish this card. It’s been sitting on my desk for four days waiting for me. The bottom photo is my daughter Mallory. She was trying to pick up my card as I photographed it. She inspected it and approved. I guess it’s a success…at least according to a three-year-old.

This weeks challenge over at Stamp Something is “Digi Days.” Meljen’s Designs is one of the sponsors. There is some serious digi love up for grabs. I’m also entering this card into Frosted Designs challenge which is buttons.

I used Meljen’s Rag Rabbits Trinkets. Say that three times fast. The “tickled pink” sentiment is a gift from my dear Aunt Cathi. It’s actually a rubbery charm that goes on a bracelet but she saw crafting potential in it. I must agree. :)

Purple use to be the color I never used on projects. Then I bought my purple Copics and I just can’t stay away. They are my favorite at the moment. If you are interested you can see the colors I used bellow in the supplies list.

Anyway, that’s all today folks. I have another small giveaway to post for you, my dear crafty friends this week. I’ll get it posted as soon as I have some time and figure out Mr. Linky (by me I mean my dear husband).

Welcome Pooch

It’s challenge time again over at Meljen’s. This weeks challenge is called “for the little ones.” Check out the other DT members work here and the new release images here. Why not try a few while they are 25% off?

I used Raggy Puppy. Isn’t he sweet? I colored him with colored pencils and Mona Lisa odorless mineral spirits. Hope you like my pooch!
