Tweet Bookmark & Simple Bunny Card

I have two sweet clean, and simple projects to share with you today. I decided to just chuck them both in the same post so here we go. The first one is a bookmark. I’ve never made a bookmark before but since that is High Hopes challenge this week I decided to try it out. I went for simple since it needs to fit in a book and I want Lenny the dragon be the star. I’m entering this into Papertake Weekly’s challenge which is “do something different” as well.

I also made a clean and simple male card. My husband says boys don’t want girly cards so I tried to make it manly. It’s difficult. ;) The only think I wish I would have done differently is emboss the green strip behind the bunny with the Cuttlebug Paisley folder. I thought of that after gluing and I am a glue freak. None of the paper items I make will ever come undone unless you rip them. I make sure of that. :) Once it’s down it’s down for good.

UPDATE- I forgot to mention I made Handy Five (top 5) at Hand Full of Stamps! Thanks Trish!

A Monster of a Birthday

It’s like Christmas…better than Christmas! My larger order of Copics came today!! Woohoo!! I checked the mail while uploaded these pics so I am still on a Copic excitement high.

I’ve had this monster card finished for a couple days now all except the sentiment. I thought it was about time I get it done so I can get it off my desk. The paper pieced monsters name is Smiley and he’s from Squigglefly. Squigglefly has their One a Day in May deal up right now. You pay 30$ and you get a new digi image everyday in May. Not too shabby.

In other news, the sweet scrapper that bought one of my owl paper piecings from my Etsy shop posted the project she made using it. You can check it out on her site- Gen’s Scrapbook Kitchen. She does some super fabulous work.

I’m off to play!

Project #29

This is one of the adorable images I picked from The Stamping Boutique when I won the Practical Scrappers challenge. The digi image is called AJ the race car driver. He’s all sorts of 3D and made into a sweet little birthday card for some special little boy. The patterned paper is from 7 Gypsies and the sentiment is a rub-on.

I’m entering this card into the challenge over at Charisma Cards which is “something for the kids.” I’m also entering into The Stamping Boutique’s challenge which is a birthday card with the color of your birthstone used (green).
