Happy Thanksgiving, friends! Yesterday was the beginning of another 7 Kids College Fund Challenge. The challenge is to make a non-traditional Christmas colors. My photo was taken late and night so I apologize for it’s not awesome quality.

This was my first time using Washi Tape. One of the owners of washiwishes.com was kind enough to send me some to try out. It’s much easier to use to make flag banners than using paper, that’s for use. If you’re interested head over and check out there selection of tapes.

I’m out of town this week but have a few cards at home I haven’t posted. I’ll be back in December to share those with you. If you’ve left me a comment or sent me an e-mail about ordering invitation I am currently on a break and will not be accepting any orders until January.

Here’s the fish invitation I’ve been making for my son’s 2nd birthday party. I must be tired or completly burnt out because they have been giving me the biggest headache and it’s such a simple design.

The cuts are from Create A Critter. The water was done with inks. The top reads, “Grab your poles and bring some bait. It’s time for us to celebrate William’s 2nd Birthday!”

Morning all! I was up until the crack of dawn finishing this card for (possibly my last?) 7 Kids Challenge then blogger gave me upload issues so it was late. Bummer. Did I mention I’ve served on the 7 Kids DT for a full year now?? Who knew I had it in me?! I work with some amazing ladies who I totally look up to. Just working with them (and attempting to make my cards even half way as fab as theirs) has helped me improve over the past 12 months. So I thank them for helping me grow and for a blast over the past year.

The challenge is “It’s so Fluffy.” My first idea didn’t work out. It just didn’t fit once I had the image colored and the card ready to assemble so I added the um, fluffy felt star boarder. It was the best I could come up with.

I love Mo Manning images. This is Oxford. He’s the first image I’ve colored with red hair. Thought it was about time I tried to do so. I’m not sure I got it quite right but I did my best with the Copics I have. We’ll call it wonderful and add a few new markers to the “want” list.

I can’t believe it’s really been two weeks since my last post and it’s challenge time once again at 7 Kids. What a slacker I have been! I must say though that the Mr. Mojo bug has come to town and I’ve been coloring up a storm the last two days and loving it. Thank goodness!

The new challenge is a sketch by the talented Mrs. Suzanne Dean. On top of that we are looking for beach themed cards. I used High Hopes Little Sand Architect. We’d love to have you join us!

It’s time again for another fabulous 7 Kids College Fund Challenge. The challenge is to follow Suzanne’s sketch above to create a fall themed card. I do not have any fall stamps that 7 Kids College Fund carries so I had to be creative using Spring Trevor, lol. It was either that or a hand drawn scarf on a cow.

I promise to do better this week with posting! It’s not a lack of want.
