Just a quick post to show a few things I made for two of my SIL’s birthdays. The cupcake on the tag is a Squigglefly image from Jane’s Bakery and the pattern paper is 3 Bugs in a Rug. The card’s image is from Whipper Snapper and the sentiment in from High Hopes. They are both colored with Copics.
I’m entering them into the following challenges-
Papertake Weekly- shiny, sparkly, & special
Simon Says- birthday/celebration
Sorry to rush it but I am hoping to get some crafting time in before bed.

My husband says I need to make my titles for exciting. So, how did I do?
This weeks High Hopes Challenge is to use 2 or more stamps. I used Clarabelle & Riley, Farm Background, and Brewster. The Easter Bunny brought me all three. The sentiment is also from High Hopes. I’m kind of a fan. The pattern paper is from Cloud 9.
Oh yes, I got the star idea from Crissy’s blog who got it from Lisa. They do some amazing work!
I’m also entering this card into Our Creative Corners challenge which is bows and Cute Card Thursday’s challenge which is touchy feely (star’s embossed). And last but not least, Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge is “a day out”.

I made this birthday envelope card for my sweet mother-in-law’s birthday. I stamped a Whipper Snapper image and used a computer generated sentiment. I made it to fit a few 4X6 photos so she could add them to a family album we gave her awhile back that we’ve been neglecting. The dark brown patterned paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle and the plaid is from the DCWV Animal Cracker stack.
I’m entering this into a number of challenges-
Crazy 4 Challenges- 3 geometric shapes or more
Daring Cardmakers- These are a few of my favorite things (WS stamp, Pink&Brown combo, gemstones, ribbon, sewing-it’s hidden)
Fourth Friday Fun Challenge- Bring on the Bling (gemstones)
One Stop Craft Challenge- Celebration
The Crafting Pot- Think Pink
I have a couple Halloween cards started that I hope to finish asap. I need to get them in the mail!! I’ll post them soon!
