Project #21
My messy house is calling my name but my stamps were calling louder. I couldn’t resist. Easter is my favorite holiday therefore, I have a ton of Easter stamps. This cute stamped image is from Inky Antics as well as the sentiment. The rabbit’s carrot is paper pieced using Bo Bunny polka dot paper that I then colored with my markers. The flannel looking cardstock is from the mini Animal Crackers Matstack.

Since I’m lacking on card making time this week I made the most out of this card. I’m entering into into the following challenges:
Truly Scruptious- sketch (I had to change it up a little to accommodate my massive stamp)
Cute card Thursday- green
The Pink Elephant- green
Stamp Something- recipe (designer paper, buttons, and ribbon)
Practical Scrappers- chalks/inks
Get Sketchy- spring theme
ABC Challenge- P is for paper piecing
Creative Card Crew- It’s a celebration
Papertake Weekly- Buttons, bows, brads, and bling (use some or all)
Wow, all those links left me with a hand cramp, lol. Thanks for stopping by!
Today’s card follows this weeks sketch as Friday Sketchers. Here is the sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

The stamp is by Whipper Snapper called Easter Bunny in Basket. The Easter saying is from Inky Antics. This is the first card I’ve ever made super 3D. I know Easter is many many months away but it just so happens to be my favorite holiday. I just couldn’t wait to use this stamp too! I used the scalloped circle Nestabilities to cut out the bunny and colored him with my Prismacolor markers.
My site will be undergoing a much needed face lift including a new fabulous logo in the next few days. As soon as I have it up I’ll be posting some “blog” candy just to show it off. I can’t wait! In other exciting news, I purchased some Forever Friends stamps all the way from United Kingdom that were mailed out today. Why is it that most of the extra fabulous stamp companies are not located in the US? I hate that they are so hard to find! Anyone with insider info on how I can get them in the states please fill me in!

This is my favorite of the two Easter cards listed today. I didn’t overdo the brads this time.
Both stamped images are from Inky Antics. The eggs are stickled and 3D. I finished one new paper piecing today and have another started. I’ll post them for you tomorrow.
