So remember last week when I said I thought it was my last week for Practical Scrappers? Ha! I was way off! I still have a whole month to go on the design team. Good thing I asked. However, I asked at like ten or eleven PM the night my project was do thus you get one photo. The challenge this week is animation, cartoon, characters. I have been planning on making these gift tags among other projects so I got to it. I haven’t perfected them yet but you get the picture. I’m sure I’ll be posting them again when I get them down just how I like them. I need to figure out a way to attach them to the ribbon without worrying about the ears getting smashed. Right now I have it attached to a slider. Other than that I think they are adorable if I do say so myself.
And I do.

This is my second post for today. Please scroll down for my first.
For Mother’s Day I whipped up three batches of jam to split between my mom and my mom-in-law. I then made these simple tags using a free digi from Stampin Inspirations by Maria and a tissue paper flower. It was my first attempt making tissue paper flowers but I think they turned out alright.
Supplies
Stamps: free digi from Stampin Inspirations by Maria
Paper: Basic Grey
Accessories: handmade tissue paper flower
Color Medium: Copics

Happy Valentine’s Day! In the normal Lisa fashion I waited until the last minute and then decided to whip up a few batches of cookies and these cute little gift tags. It is also my BIL Austin’s Birthday. I sadly made him the worst cake ever as well- note to self: making the cake layers the night before is a bad idea. Not sealing them up air tight also a bad idea. You will get comments like, “I plead the 5th” when asked how it tastes and “It’s like a toast cake.” LOL, at least my cookies are good and my in laws now have a “remember when” story about me to tell for years to come.
The monkey stamp is a digi from Bugaboo (I added the 30 on the cake), the Cupid Bear is from Whipper Snapper, the elephant is a Dustin Pike digi image, and the squirrel is a Greeting Farm image. I used a lot of cuttlebug, my cricut, did some sewing, and inked lots of edges. That’s about it. I’ll be back tomorrow with my Squigglefly DT card.
