Initial Button Gift Tag

Buttons, I love them. I seem to use them on just about every craft I do. I made this button-a-licious gift tag for my little girl. She’s only four but I know she’ll adore and appreciate it above and beyond anyone else. The little snowman is called Little Snowy. You can find him on the Holly Jolly Penny Black acrylic stamp set. I made his hand and stocking 3D and the initial is cut out using Mickey font (Cricut cartridge). I added some stickles to his hat too. Little girl’s love glitter. Who doesn’t?

Sorry about the abundance of gift tags lately. It seems they are the only thing I have time for. At least I learned how to get my photos bigger again though, right? And I’m posting something…

Today was my daughters Preschool Christmas program and her last day of school before the holidays. Once again she did not sing and every time she’d look at me she’d give me that devilish “I know what I’m doing and you can’t make me” grin. So frustrating! Her teacher had Santa come earlier this morning to visit the kids. My kid is terrified of Santa. That poor teacher didn’t know what she was getting herself into, lol. I’m sure she’s glad is the last of a two week break!

Mallory, my preschool attending daughter, was super excited when her teacher gave her a treat and a bag of an oatmeal and glitter mixture (you’re supposed to sprinkle it on your lawn to attract the reindeer to your house I guess) and said, “Look Mom, teacher Nisha gave me some new interesting looking food!” Glitter, yummm. She kills me.

Anyway, here is the tag I whipped up for Mallory’s teacher. It would have been a 10 minute tag but my one year old was tired and hanging on me while I assembled the pieces. I’ll do my best to get a card up soon! Thanks for checking out my most exciting tags!

Thankful Owl Tag

It’s been awhile since I made anything primarily Cricut cuts so I thought I’d surprise you with something different for a change. I whipped out my favorite Create-a-Critter cartridge and my newest Plantin SchoolBook cartridge to make a simple gift tag. I cut the tag at 2.5 and the owl at 3. I hid the owl’s face on the top cut in Design Studio so I could use my Peachy Keen Stamp faces (sz. X Large). A little ink, chalk, and a touch of Copics and here she is.

Halloween Pumpkin Mickey & Featured on Etsy

I had an etsy customer ask me to come up with a pumpkin Mickey for a Halloween party. They will be made into cupcake toppers and gift tags. I hand drew and cut out the pumpkin center, stem, and leave. What do you think?

Mickey Mouse Treat Bag Gift Tags

So remember last week when I said I thought it was my last week for Practical Scrappers? Ha! I was way off! I still have a whole month to go on the design team. Good thing I asked. However, I asked at like ten or eleven PM the night my project was do thus you get one photo. The challenge this week is animation, cartoon, characters. I have been planning on making these gift tags among other projects so I got to it. I haven’t perfected them yet but you get the picture. I’m sure I’ll be posting them again when I get them down just how I like them. I need to figure out a way to attach them to the ribbon without worrying about the ears getting smashed. Right now I have it attached to a slider. Other than that I think they are adorable if I do say so myself. And I do.Other projects you might like:
