Blue Christmas Hippo

Finished it. :) I colored my little Party Hippo blue, added some snowflakes, and made him a Christmas gift.  I am so ready for the holidays. My holiday decor is screaming my name. “Lisa, get us out! Hang us up!” So I’ve compromised and I’m making holiday cards and projects instead. TFL!

Thanks a Melon

Please excuse my photos. I left my nice camera at my mom’s when visiting yesterday so I had to improvise in order to enter this weeks High Hopes challenge which is ribbons and bows. I must be tired today. I started off following the Friday Sketchers sketch and at the end of it all didn’t follow it enough to actually enter. I was going to have a big bow behind the mat as well and as you can see that didn’t happen either. Sigh. At least my image is cute and my card turned out alright even if it isn’t as I planned. Is it ever as planned? :)

It’s here! The first ever 7 Kids College Fund challenge! The challenge is to use pink polka dots. Challenges are posted every other Wednesday. You must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund store. Tab carries just about everything under the sun so if you look around and are a stamper I’m sure you have something.
