Ladybug Invitations Take 2

If you’ve been around awhile you’ll remember these ladybug invitations a couple of my SIL’s and I made for our dear sister in law Marianne’s baby shower. Well that baby is now turning one and we’re still stuck on fabulous ladybugs. Marianne and I tag teamed making a new version of the same ladybugs. I must say I like them even better.

A little hot pink and black action with a pocket. Cute, right? I recently had the privileged of watching my niece a couple times a week for the better part of a month. Let me tell you, doing so makes you love them that much more and miss them when they are gone. Anyway, with approval from my sweet Marianne I’ll be posting these in my etsy shop…at some point…after catching up on designing turtle, monkey, and cowboy invitations and then making said invites. So if you visit my site for the invitations get excited for some cute stuff! If not I’ll have other projects scattered throughout as well.

I am back from my Disneyland family vacation and sooo ready to craft it up. I made this card using a free digi from Lily-Boo’s Boutique. The pattern paper is from Scenic Route. The balloons and ladybugs are 3D. I went a little crazy with embellishments. I guess I was a little overly excited.

Baby Girl Acrylic Album

This is my first ever attempt at an acrylic album. It was a ton of fun to make and I sure learned a lot (I can’t wait to start my next one!). I made it for my dear sister-in-law Marianne who is expecting her first, a girl, in four weeks. The little girl stamps are from Whipper Snapper and of course the hedge hog is from Penny Black. I only had time to photograph a few of the pages because in normal Lisa fashion I was scrambling to finish it before walking out the door to the baby shower. It always gets done though!

Ladybug Baby Shower Invitations

My sister-in-law is expecting a baby girl and a few of us girls are planning a baby shower for her. Marianne is decorating her little girls room in ladybugs so I came up with this ladybug baby shower invitation. I used the Doodlecharms cartridge to cut them out. The wings swivel to reveal the party info underneath.

Lil’ Lady

I made this lil’ lady layout all ready to be used. The “lady” chipboard letters are cut out from alphalicious. I love my cricut! I’m hoping to get a deep cut blade and housing duo soon so they are easier to do. The ladybug and striped patterned paper is from Pressed Petals. The bear pattern is from myscrapchick. She is usually holding an ice cream cone. The ladybugs come from a Stampin’ Up stamp. I just cut them apart.
