Mickey Cupcake Toppers & Tags

I’ve had these in my head for so long and have been slowly working on them. When I saw this weeks Fabulous Cricut challenge I just had to finish them to enter. The challenge is “cool yummy treat.” There aren’t any cooler treats then ones that have Mickey attached. Of course they match my Mickey invitations as well. I will be removing them from my site soon and offering them only through my etsy shop. I have so many ideas in my head that I just haven’t had time to create so I want to limit the amount I offer. Of course these yummy cutties are in my etsy shop as well. I made the cupcake toppers the same on both sides. Next time I’m going to leave the buttons off on one side so it’s him backend but I didn’t think about that until I’d already made this set.

I’ll be back this evening with my Practical Scrappers card! Thanks for stopping by. I love when you do!

Mickey Mouse Treat Bag Gift Tags

So remember last week when I said I thought it was my last week for Practical Scrappers? Ha! I was way off! I still have a whole month to go on the design team. Good thing I asked. However, I asked at like ten or eleven PM the night my project was do thus you get one photo. The challenge this week is animation, cartoon, characters. I have been planning on making these gift tags among other projects so I got to it. I haven’t perfected them yet but you get the picture. I’m sure I’ll be posting them again when I get them down just how I like them. I need to figure out a way to attach them to the ribbon without worrying about the ears getting smashed. Right now I have it attached to a slider. Other than that I think they are adorable if I do say so myself. :) And I do.

By now ya’ll know I do Mickey birthday invitations. We’ll, I had a sweet mother ask me to make my pockets into a CD holder for her son’s birthday. A CD invite, that is the coolest thing I’ve ever heard. So of course I said yes. Aren’t they cute!?! It took me forever to do the full name (5 letters + 5 shadows X 25, ouch) where I usually only do one initial but they turned out cute. I hope she loves them too.
