Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty

I stumbled upon a rad site a few days ago (I heard someone use “rad” a couple of days ago and have been dying to use it. Takes me back. I know, I’m lame.) Anyway, the site, it’s My Pink Stamper. Of course I added it to my feed reader and I am so glad I did. To celebrate National Scrapbooking Day they are doing 12 challenges with 12 fantastic prizes. I really want to get in on the fun especially since they are giving away both cartridges I really want (Preserves and Robotz).

I did this card last night. I hope to squeeze in a few more while my kids take their naps this afternoon. Pray they will both sleep at the same time. :)

I’m entering this card into challenge number six- a card made for a kid or a kid helped make it.If you have a Cricut join in the fun!

I’m also entering this card into this weeks “bling, bling” challenge at The Crazy Challenge. My favorite part is the black gem for the mouse nose.

My new set of 48 Prismacolor markers has arrived!! I know just about everyone uses Copic markers but I just couldn’t spend that much! I found my markers for a screamin’ deal (65$) for the set when at our local Robers a set of 24 is $104. Copics would have been over double that so I don’t feel too sick spending so much on such a silly want.  I was crossing my fingers that I’d be a natural with the shadowing and coloring of my stamped images but no luck. This little guy didn’t turn out too bad. He’s from Whipper Snapper. I sold a good deal of my stamp collection to get a few new stamps and should be getting my order from Whipper Snapper soon. I can’t wait! I have a few other new images I hope to get to soon as well. I’ll need lots of practice so I hope to have the cards rolling in soon. I hope you see improvement over the next few weeks!

I decided that I should make a few note cards. They come in handy when giving out homemade goods plus I want to use my smaller stamps and they work perfect on these. I only finished one today but started a few more. The stamped images are by Penny Black. All stamped images are 3D. The “thank you” is a rub-on. Very simple but cute.
