This week at Practical Scrappers the challenge is to use patterned paper. I used patterned paper on these little alligators to create their scales. Pattern is from My Scrap Chick and the patterned paper is from American Traditional Designs. They are hand cut out, inked, and pieced together.
Thanks for stopping by! Join in at Practical Scrappers!! The deadline for this week’s challenge is Saturday, May 22 at 5 pm ET. The Grand Prize for this week is your choice of three digis from Wink Wink Ink.

Happy Easter everybody! I have a fitting card for the Easter holiday, lol. Last night I told my two year old that Easter is my favorite holiday and she said that is wasn’t her favorite, Valentine’s is. I spotted this adorable frog paper called “Ka-Zoo Frogs & Hearts” and knew exactly what I’d use it for. The frog paper piecing is made from a pattern by Treasure Box Designs. The hearts and hands are 3D and the “love you” are beads. You can see a few more close up photos on my Etsy shop.
The Easter bunny was good to me this year. Four new High Hopes stamps, three new punches, and a pack of paper I can’t wait to break out. I’ll be back soon with my daughters third birthday invitations too! Right now I need to go get ready for a day of fun with family…

Project #16
I whipped up a couple of paper pieced animals today. Shown are two new ones. the unicorn is supposed to have a “stuffed” look. The bear is from myscrapchick. You can find the pattern here.
