I’ve been putting this layout off for awhile now. I didn’t want to overdo it but I didn’t want to underdo it either. I hope it turned out alright. It’s for some dear friends of mine. You can find the paper piecing zoo animal patterns here. I am getting rusty on scrapbook layouts. I need to start doing them more often. I’m getting burnt out of the paper piecing. I need to take a break for a while. I always go through stages so I’ll come back around soon I’m sure.

The patterned cardstock is from Imaginisce and the patterned paper is a Karen Foster Design. The orange striped photo-mat is from the fabulous DCWV Animal Crackers Matstack. My SIL was just showing me her All About Boys stack. I must have it! Cute boy paper is not easy to find! The matstacks are a great stocking stuffer (hint, hint to my husband).

I’m back to selling my paper piecings on e-bay. Therefore, you’ll be seeing a lot of them. :) I love to make them and like having a little extra cash. On top of that I love knowing my work is on other ladies scrapbooks all across the U.S. The top one is a snake that you weave in between pictures on a scrapbook page. I’ve started a second one that I hope to scrapbook soon. The next is called “puppy love.” The final picture is of zoo animals that I’ve shown before. They are some of my favorites! The giraffe is a bit ridiculous to do (so many small pieces!) but ends up being too cute for him own good.

I have a lot of card ideas floating around in my head that I hope to get to soon. Thanks for looking!!

Paper Piecing- Zoo Animals

I know you have seen some of these animals before. I love the gator (I’ve started four more) and the zebra is fun but takes way too much time (I have almost finished two more). I won’t be making him again any time soon. All those stripes… I am mailing a few of them to my super cool cousin who loves to scrapbook. I can’t wait to see what she makes with them. :)
