Thanksgiving Turkey

I just started getting into a new craft, paper piecing. I didn’t have a pattern for this turkey so I am pretty proud of him. I think he’s pretty hot stuff.

nice! reminds me of those pictures you would color in elementary school. I always wanted to decorate my bedroom in those pictures. Super cute. :)

So, this turkey inspired me to try my hand at ‘paper piecing’- I made a mickey mouse head- It was fun! Great work!

Good for you! I bought some patterns that are super cute but then decided that it’s a waste. I can draw circles just as well as I trace them (almost) and it’s a lot cheaper! I love the turkey. I also did some worms that I think turned out well. I am doing a 12 X 12 layout with them but haven’t had the time (or brown thread) to finish it yet. It stinks since all my crafty stuff is in Mallory’s room right now. After she goes to bed is the best time to work on them but I can’t cause it would wake her up. Argh! We need to craft together.
